Original story (published on April 22, 2021) follows:

Google made the job easier for a lot of power users with the introduction of the Tab Groups feature on Google Chrome.

Not only does it cut the redundant clutter on the Chrome tab bar but also lets users customize them for an easy juggle.

The feature, however, unlike a regular tab, fades away upon re-opening the Chrome window after closing it completely.

There are users who wish to cut down the extra effort of opening and re-grouping regularly used Chrome tabs every day by having a more convenient option to save them.

Even though the tech giant provided the Tab Groups feature in the Chrome browser, it seems to be incomplete without the option to save them.

When a concerned Chrome user raised the thought of having this feature on the official forums, the thread attracted tremendous support from fellow mates.

Responding to which a forum representative said the browser doesn’t support the saving feature yet. But this is something that can be put forward to Google in the form of a feature request.

Hey all,

We appreciate your responses.

As of now, you cannot save the Tab Groups for later use.
What you can currently do is send feedback about this feature request. The feedback will directly reach the Google team.

The feature is indeed required and it shouldn’t take much hardship to add it. All it takes is to bring this to Google’s notice.
