Google Workspace 'There was an error. Please try again' issue while signing up gets acknowledged

If you use Google products, you must have heard of Google Workspace. Formerly known as G Suite, it is a collection of productivity tools such as Gmail, Contacts, Meet, Currents, Drive, and the Google Docs Suite.

While some of these features are also available to free users, Google Workspace adds some useful enterprise features such as the ability to assign custom email addresses and unlimited Drive storage.

Having said that, some users (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) who tried signing up for a new Google Workspace account say they are unable to do so and are getting an error message that says ‘There was an error. Please try again.’

Many are seemingly frustrated since the issue is affecting their productivity negatively. Users said they tried signing up using a different browser and using a VPN but it looks like that did not help resolve the problem.

I am attempting to sign up to Google Workplace but I tried and told me ‘domain not recognised’ and then eventually went to next phase. Attempting to sign up it comes up with ‘Something went wrong, please try again’ and has been stuck like that for over 12 hours. I don’t believe I’ve ever tried signing up before and attempting to log into the Dashboard it accepts username and password then goes to an add account page and just loops like that. Can’t sign up for Google Workforce – Domain Issue
Hello guys, I am trying to sign up for Google Workspace but I am running into an issue with trying to enter my existing domain it is giving me this message “There was an error finding your domain. Please try again.” I am the only person operating as an admin to my domain and I do not believe signing up for Google Workspace previously. Any isea why I am getting this message?

Thankfully, Google Workspace Support has acknowledged the issue and said that they are working on a fix.
