Original story (published on July 31, 2023) follows:

Samsung has been a leading player in the wearable technology market, producing innovative smartwatches that have captured the attention of consumers worldwide.

However, even the most reputable companies are not immune to occasional mishaps and bugs. For instance, we previously highlighted the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro Google Assistant stopped working for some.

A bug where Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 4 users were unable to turn off ongoing notification icons had also come to light. But recently, Samsung found itself in a rather humorous and awkward situation.

Galaxy Watch 6 Classic ‘ARRIL’ typo in watch face & promo video

It appears that the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic’s remarkable functionality took a backseat when the typo “ARRIL” was noticed on its watch face, where it should have read “APRIL” (1,2,3,4).

Samsung is failing and failing with the SW on the Watch6. First the error in Arril instead of April and now the second month is out for a change 😉

I’d prefer a watchface on the left with April spelled correctly:-)

The error even appeared in both the official wearable app and the promotional video, suggesting that it either went unnoticed or spread across the entire development and marketing process.

As soon as eagle-eyed tech enthusiasts spotted the typo, the internet exploded with a flood of memes and sarcastic comments. This incident also brought other spelling errors to the fore.

Some people now believe that Samsung made these errors because they were either a little too careless or rushed through the process.

It’s clear that Samsung rushed the software for the Watch6 series. Heck, even the watchface on the first pic has a typo! (ARRIL)

While many found humor in the situation, some loyal Samsung users expressed disappointment and concern over the company’s seemingly diminishing attention to detail.

We hope that Samsung takes the necessary steps to rectify the ‘ARRIL’ typo.

That said, we’ll keep tabs on the latest developments and update this article accordingly.

Update 1 (September 25, 2023)
