Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 came out in September 2020 with Android 10-based One UI 2.5 and now the wait is on for the update to One UI 3.1 based on Android 11.

The Galaxy Tab Active 3 is also available from carriers like Rogers in Canada and it seems users of the said carrier-locked variant are in for a treat.

As the per the Rogers OS upgrade schedule, Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is expected to get the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update on July 6 in Canada.

This is certainly good news for users as they have been waiting for the said OS update for quite some time now.

Also, the One UI 3.1 (Android 11) update might bring features like Control Panel, Chat Bubbles, and much more to the Galaxy Tab Active 3.

However, this is still based on speculation as no details about the upcoming update have been shared by Rogers.

Moreover, it is possible that all users of the carrier-locked Galaxy Tab Active 3 may not get the said update as per the schedule.

This is simply because such dates for software updates are subject to change and the same has been mentioned on the Rogers OS upgrade schedule page.

So, nothing is clear until Rogers starts rolling out the OS update for its Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 on the set date.

Hopefully, the Canadian network service provider sticks to its schedule starts the Android 11 rollout on July 6.

That said, we will keep tracking this for further development and will report back when more details come to light.
