One UI 2.0 which is the custom skin from Samsung, is based on the latest Android OS i.e. Android 10. There are a lot of cool new features and enhancements from the previous version of the One UI, which was launched alongside Android 9 Pie.

Samsung has been quite occupied with the rollout of the One UI 2.0 (Android 10) updates for its compatible devices and in a recent development, One UI 2.0 stable update is now available for the users on Verizon and AT&T for the entire Galaxy Note 10 series.

Keep in mind that the entire Galaxy Note 10 lineup i.e. the Galaxy Note 10, 10+, 10+ 5G is reportedly getting the latest Android 10 based One UI 2.0 update in the US with the latest December 2019 security update. 

Verizon Galaxy Note 10 series

Now, according to the users of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Verizon variant, their Christmas present has arrived a bit early. Samsung has served the entire Galaxy Note 10 lineup with the One UI 2.0 (Android 10) on Verizon.

Talking about the update, it is arriving with the version number BSL7. The surprisingly early OTA update from Verizon brings some new changes like Android 10 (One UI 2.0), live transcribe, smart reply along with the latest December 2019 security patchset.

What’s changing:
This software update brings the latest Android 10 OS, with new features including Live Transcribe, Smart Reply, improved Gestures and Camera UX, and Focus Mode along with support for BYOD (“bring your own device”) when making the switch to Verizon from select carriers. Night Mode has been renamed to Dark Mode. The latest Android security patch is also included in this update.

In Android 10, you get more than just suggested responses to your messages. You also get recommended actions. So, if a friend asks you out to dinner, your phone will suggest you text thumbs up. Then, it’ll also pull up directions right in Google Maps™. It even works in messaging apps like Signal.

Live Transcribe
Real-time transcriptions for the world around you. Now with sound events that show you when someone is clapping, a dog is barking, someone is whistling, and more.

Gesture Navigation
Gestures are now quicker and more intuitive than ever. Go backwards and forwards, pull up the homescreen, and swipe up to see your open apps. All super smooth.

Focus Mode
For getting in the zone and minimizing distractions. Turn on Focus mode with a single tap to pause apps that you’ve selected.

AT&T Galaxy Note 10 series

Notably, the AT&T variants of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series are also getting the latest Android 10 based One UI 2.0 stable update along with the December patchset. Talking about the update, it arrives with the same version number (BSL7) and weighs in around 2.3 GB in size.

However, when we checked the official AT&T update tracker, it is yet to get revised. You can check out the image below of the update tracker:

Moreover, there is no update available for Sprint, T-Mobile or carrier unlocked variants as of now. Notably, the Exynos variants have also got in the Android 10 (One UI 2.0) update while the update for Note 10 5G variant is delayed in Korea.

Keep in mind that the update is being pushed via OTA and will soon hit every unit. However, you can always go ahead and check for the updates by heading to Home > Applications > Settings > About Device > Software updates
