Players of the popular online shooter Fortnite are reporting that the edit style option and some other customization options for the Spectra Knight skin are not available in the game. The developers have been made aware of this issue.
Spectra Knight missing customization issue in Fortnite
Spectra Knight is a Legendary Outfit in Fortnite: Battle Royale, which could have been obtained immediately after purchasing Chapter 4 of the game.
It is part of the Prismatic Night set and is a highly customizable remix of previously released knight styles, such as Black Knight and Red Knight. Players can unlock up to 13 body part customizations for the Spectra Knight, along with five themed banners.
There are 18 primary and secondary colors, as well as 12 trim and prism colors, that players can combine to get distinctive results. However, even with such a variety in terms of customization, the ongoing issue has greatly limited the appearance options for the character skin.
According to multiple reports, the ‘edit style’ option is not available for many players in the customization menu. There are even reports that claim that some players are not able to select or change the primary color of their skin, only getting to change the secondary colors.
The issue has raised quite a rage storm on social media, but fortunately, all the reports and complaints were successful in bringing the issue to the attention of the developers.
Official acknowledgment
As the reports piled up on social media, the developers soon got wind of the issue with the skin. Replying to the grievance of a player, Epic said that they are aware of the issue and the team has been working on a fix.
However, there is no ETA or release date available for the fix. Currently, there are no available methods to solve the issue. But considering the history of Epic, it can be positively hoped that they will soon patch out this inconvenience.
