Popular online shooter Fortnite has officially canceled all Ranked Cups, rendering the exclusive reward, Competitor’s Time Brella, temporarily unobtainable. However, the developers have assured players that they are actively working to resolve the issue.

Fortnite Ranked Cups cancelled

Fortnite has canceled all remaining Ranked Cups for this season due to technical issues. This decision has affected players’ ability to participate in the cups and earn rewards, such as the Competitor’s Time Brella.

The exact technical issues that caused the cancellation of Ranked Cups in Fortnite have not been disclosed by Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite.

Official acknowledgement

Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite, has officially acknowledged the cancellation and stated their commitment to addressing the technical issues. They are working on a fix and plan to reintroduce Ranked Cups in version 28.00.

Is Competitor’s Time Brella impossible to acquire now?

The Competitor’s Time Brella glider was added as a free reward for Ranked Season 2 in Fortnite Season OG.

The glider became available on November 23, 2023, and could be obtained by participating in Ranked Cups and earning a minimum of 75 points during the period between November 23 and 26.

Unfortunately, there is no alternative method to obtain the Competitor’s Time Brella glider if the players were unable to earn it during the Ranked Cups. The glider is no longer available as a reward.

Fortnite Ranked Cups canceled report

Other than the Time Brella, the Ranked Cup also rewarded the players with Competitor’s Skyblades gliders. These items are exclusive as the rewards of the Ranked Cup, and due to the temporary cancelation, it is currently impossible to acquire them right now.
