Players of the massively popular online shooter Fortnite are reportedly facing an issue where they are unable to access the archived ‘back blings’ in their locker. According to reports, the gear is suddenly disappearing from the archives. The developers are aware of the issue, and a fix is currently being worked on.

What is the Fortnite archived ‘back blings’ issue?

In Fortnite, the archive feature allows players to manage their Locker and Emote Wheel by hiding unwanted items without deleting them. This feature is useful for cleaning up the locker by hiding items that are not frequently used.

To archive a cosmetic item, players can head to the Locker tab, press and hold the left stick on consoles or Z on PC, and then click on the items they wish to archive. The archived items can be found inside the Archived folder when filtering the Locker.

However, according to reports, back blings that are archived in the locker are reportedly inaccessible. After adding the back bling to the archive menu, players are unable to view the items in the list.

In Fortnite, back blings are not the only items that can be archived, but the reports seem to suggest that the issue is specifically arising with back blings in the archive menu. So far, there has been no official explanation provided for the issue.

Official acknowledgement

Fortunately, the issue has been acknowledged. The EPIC support team has shared a statement on social media, stating that they are currently working on investigating the issue and will soon provide a fix.
