In the last few years, Battle Royale shooting games have taken the video game industry by storm. While some prefer realistic gunplay and physics, others enjoy fast-paced and complex mechanics titles like Fortnite has to offer.

It is one of the most popular games to date despite being released in 2017, with more than 350 million registered players as of 2021.

While the developers bring in new content every now and then, several players complained that they experienced FPS drops due to DirectX 12 after the Chapter 3 Season 2 update.

And if you thought this was enough, recent reports (1,2,3,4,5) from Fortnite players suggest that the game is crashing on PC after the Chapter 3 Season 2 update.

The game seems to be crashing to the desktop randomly making it impossible for players to complete a match. Generic troubleshooting steps like reinstalling the game and restarting the system are not helping either.

You can see in the image below the error message some players are getting.
