Supercell’s popular farming simulator, Hay Day, has reportedly been experiencing a bug in its ongoing Boat event, specifically with the puzzle piece rewards. This issue has been negatively impacting the experience of many players participating in the event. However, the developers are aware of the problem and are actively working on a fix.
Hay Day Boat event puzzle piece bug
In Hay Day, the boat event is a special event where players fill crates on boats with goods to earn rewards. These boat events feature special shipments that offer additional rewards, including puzzle pieces, expansion permits, boosters, or extra vouchers.
Puzzle pieces hold significance as they are used to unlock animals in the sanctuary. Completing boat orders is a vital way to quickly obtain puzzle pieces.
Puzzle boats, a unique type of boat, can appear at the player’s dock, and fulfilling the shipment order grants a puzzle piece.
Unfortunately, according to player reports, the puzzle piece rewards are bugged, resulting in players not receiving their rewards even after successfully completing the shipments. This issue has caused significant frustration as players express their disappointment over wasted hours of gameplay.
The number of puzzle pieces required to complete the boat event puzzle in Hay Day can vary. Puzzle pieces are essential for unlocking animals in the sanctuary, and each animal’s puzzle consists of 36 pieces that must be collected. However, due to the bug, it has become more challenging for players to unlock these animals.
Official acknowledgement
As the reports continue to accumulate, the developers at Supercell have released an official statement addressing the issue. According to their Twitter statement, the team is actively investigating the problem and plans to release an update containing a fix for this “issue” as well as addressing other known problems.

Currently, there is no official release date or estimated time of arrival (ETA) provided for the update. Until then, it is advised not to spend any high-value currency, such as diamonds or other valuable resources, on the boat event.
