Update 1 (December 11, 2023)

Until Epic releases the official fix for the issue, players can try these workarounds:
- Reset the game multiple times.
- Intentionally die in the game 2-3 times.
These are unofficial workarounds shared by the community, which may not yield the intended results.
Original story follows:
Lego Fortnite players are reporting an absurd new bug that is affecting the spawn points in the new mode. The increasing reports soon caught the attention of the developers, and they updated that a fix is in development for this issue.
Lego Fortnite spawn bug
Lego Fortnite is a new survival crafting mode available inside the Fortnite game. It allows players to collect resources, battle creatures, and power up their imagination by building and customizing their ultimate home base using Lego blocks collected from the world around them.
What is Lego Fortnite?
The game is built inside Fortnite and powered by Unreal Engine 5, taking advantage of features such as Chaos physics and destruction. It offers both creative and survival modes, where players can explore vast, open worlds and team up with friends to gather materials and survive the night.
What is the issue?
Clearly inspired by the legendary block crafting game Minecraft, Lego Fortnite intricately blends the classic features with modern polish. It also has multiplayer and cooperative play. However, with the latest reports, it seems the private lobbies are not working as intended.
According to the reports, when a player tries to join a friendly lobby, they are spawned far away from the map’s owner. Lego Fortnite supports up to eight players, including the host.
Players can create a new world and drop in by themselves or explore with seven other friends by their side. Once a world is created in Lego Fortnite, players can invite seven of their friends to join their party and hop onto the newly created island.
But due to this issue, all the players are spawning in different sections of the map, creating quite a stir of frustration and rage among players. But fortunately, there’s good news.
Official acknowledgment
As the reports piled up, the developers at Epic soon acknowledged the issue and shared an update on the situation.
According to an official social media post and an entry on the official Fortnite Trello, the issue is currently being investigated, and a fix is under development. There’s still no ETA announced for the fix, but hopefully it could be released soon.
