The Fitbit Luxe is a fashionable fitness wrist tracker that’s packed with cool health tracking features and is the first one to have stress-tracking capabilities.

Overall, it provides all essential features such as a heart rate sensor, oxygen saturation monitoring, sleep tracking, water resistance, and syncs with your phone, all at an affordable price.

Fitbit Luxe screen not working

However, Fitbit Luxe owners have recently been reporting a few different issues with their device such as the screen not working or not responding properly.

Many are reporting that their screen keeps flickering or completely goes black and displays horizontal lines. While for others the tracker display turns white or bright when they tap to wake up (1,2,3,4,5).

I charged my Lux but can’t get the logo to populate when I tap the screen. There is a series of pink and purple horizontal lines on the bottom half of the face. I have tried restarting it using the charge cord method. It vibrates while on the charger, but still no response. My android app indicates a full charge on the Lux.

my luxe screen has just started behaving oddly – some of the rows of pixels are not displaying and it’s all flickery. i know it’s hot in the uk, but even so. i have restarted a couple of times (hard to find when you can’t read the screen). it’s only a month old! Is this a heat issue or is mine faulty?

Users are still able to track progress and it syncs in the app normally, but they are unable to use any other feature on the device.

Troubleshooting methods such as changing the clock face, reinstalling the Fitbit app, removing Luxe from the account, and reconnecting and restarting using the charging cable don’t seem to work either.

Potential workarounds

Until new related developments emerge, we came across some potential workarounds that might help you. First, you can clear user data

Secondly, another user shared that restarting their device solved this issue for them. So, give it a try.

Restart Device
If your device is unresponsive:
1: Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
2: Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times, pausing for 1 second between presses. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.
