New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on October 08, 2021) follows:

The 29th installment in EA’s FIFA series, FIFA 22, came out pretty recently and it is available as the Standard and Ultimate Editions across platform like Windows, PS4, PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and more.

FIFA is one of the most played sports game series with millions of players across the globe whereas FIFA 22 is also being praised by many. However, some issues have been spoiling the user experience lately. So, let’s take a look at these issues one by one.

FIFA 22 stuck in Draft section

As per multiple reports, players are unable to play Draft matches in FIFA 22 if they have Joe Cole in their squad. It seems the player might be bugged which is causing FIFA 22 to stuck in the Draft section whenever players to try start a game with Joe Cole in their squad.

@EASPORTSFIFA I am having an issue with Joe Cole being in my FUT draft. I am unable to play drafts until this issue is resolved. Can anyone help?

Thus the only way to play Draft matches for the time being might be removing Joe Cole from the squad. However, this is still based speculation as EA Help has simply acknowledged the issue stating that they are aware of the issue and are investigating the same.

So, affected players may not have to dwell with the problem where FIFA 22 gets stuck on in the Draft section when Joe Cole is in the squad for too long as a fix might arrive in the near future.

Unable to claim remaining FIFA 22 EA Play 10-hour trial

On the other hand, those who claimed EA Play 10-hour trial for FIFA 22 on PS4 and PS5 are unable to claim their remaining trial. Reports clearly outline that players are being asked to purchase the game even though they have some time in their EA Play 10-hour trial.

@EAHelp hi, i still have time left on my fifa 22 trial on ps5 via ea play. Cant start the game though: it says I need to purchase the game..
Source

I have 8 hours left of my 10 hour ea play trial. If I start fifa it says it cannot use the content. Only the user who has the license can, but that shows that as the user I’m logged in as. I’ve restored licenses and shut down my ps4 for 20 minutes and it still says the same thing. I guess I only got a 1 hour trial and now I gotta just pay 60 dollars even though I only may play this game 8 more hours
Source

It is unclear what the exact cause of the problem is but it is inconveniencing many PS4 and PS5 users as they are unable to play the game despite having an active EA Play 10-hour trial for FIFA 22.

However, EA Help has acknowledged this issue as well stating that they are working to fix this problem for PS4 and PS5 users in North America as soon as possible.

While both issues, FIFA 22 stuck in the Draft section and EA Play 10-hour trial not working, are being looked into, there is no word on how long it will take to fix these problems.

So, it may take a while before FIFA 22 players get a proper fix for the aforementioned issues as EA Help has not provided any ETA for the fixes. However, it is still good to see that the problems are being looked into.

Hopefully, EA fixes these issues soon so that those with remaining EA Play 10-hour trial time and Joe Cole in their Draft squad can play FIFA 22 without any hassle.
