EA’s FIFA is one of the most popular soccer simulator franchises available. The most recent installment in the saga is FIFA 22, which has been available since last year (2021).

To keep players engaged, EA regularly releases new content. For example, the game is currently receiving an update that brings a full new season.

Each new FIFA season update brings new challenges and rewards. However, this time, the update also brought glitches (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13).

Currently, some players are reporting that they are unable to claim their rewards or open packs through the FIFA 22 Companion app. Also, FIFA 22 Web app presents the same glitch (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10).

FIFA 22 Companion and Web app glitched: rewards cannot be claimed

According to reports, some FIFA 22 players cannot open their corresponding Season Rewards or stored Packs. However, this happens when they try to do it from the FIFA 22 Companion and Web app.

Anyone else not receiving #FUT22 rivals rewards? Companion app says there’s FUT Champs rewards ready, but showing no rewards…

The issue described above began to happen in the last few hours. More specifically, since the arrival of the new FIFA 22 Season update.

EA Sports team is aware, fix in works

Fortunately, the EA Sports team is already aware of the glitch that prevents players from receiving their rewards and opening packs via FIFA 22 Companion and Web app.

Through the official acknowledgment, EA confirms that they are already working on a fix. In the meantime, they recommend that players try to receive their rewards directly from the game (on console or PC).

Hi Jullien, Thanks for getting in touch. We have started to get reports of this from players as they try to open their weekly rewards on the Companion or Web App. We are aware of this and have escalated it to the game team. For now, if you’re at home, can you try to claim in the main game on your console/PC and let me know if you can collect them there?
