EA SPORTS FC 24 'Evolution cards' missing or reverting to Gold version

EA SPORTS FC 24 players are facing an issue where ‘Evolution cards’ are missing or reverting to the Gold version.

Evolution Cards is a new feature introduced in FC 24 that allows gamers to upgrade individual attributes of their players, like defending, dribbling, passing, shooting, and much more.

One can make such upgrades by completing certain objectives. The early adopters of the game get an exclusive FC Founder privilege that provides them with a set of bonuses, including kits, packs, and special objectives.

Another bonus that players get is the Founders Evolution, which allows them to upgrade a striker of their choosing.

However, by looking at the reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), it appears that a bug is causing the card submitted in the Founders Evolution to be reverted back to the regular gold version.

As per the claims, the card cannot be sold on the transfer market even when it has been converted to a regular one. And to make matters worse, the option to do the Founders Evolution does not reappear when the card vanishes.

Some contend that the game crashes when they start the Founders Evo. Upon logging back in, their evolution player disappears, and they are unable to restart the evolution process.

Gamers have even noted instances where their cards were reset when they had only a few games left to complete.

And this is without a doubt quite disheartening for those who had especially purchased different player cards. Naturally, the Evolution card would have helped them get a quite significant upgrade.

Some allege that their evolution cards got converted into the regular gold ones just within a few minutes of selection.

Interestingly, a few contend that they get the option to sell the affected card. Notably, this issue has been going on since the first day of early access.

Unfortunately, EA Sports has not yet officially acknowledged this issue. Also, we haven’t come across any workarounds for the issue. So it looks like you might have to wait for a while.

Evolution is a great incentive for players to choose their favorite card and make it usable, along with the power curve throughout the game cycle.

But such a major issue when the game hasn’t even been fully released yet makes gamers question EA. So be sure that we will keep an eye on this and keep you updated accordingly.
