Original story (published on May 10, 2022) follows:

Released in May 2019 on Android and iOS, F1 Clash is a racing strategy management game developed and published by Hutch. It features all official teams, drivers, and circuits from the 2019 Formula One World Championship.

The gameplay involves taking charge of teams with two drivers automatically driving on the track. Players have to decide when they pit, make modifications to the tire compound if needed and tell drivers to drive faster or slower.

Apart from managing races, events such as unexpected mechanical failures, weather changes, and safety car deployments also happen randomly during races. While players have praised the title for its gameplay, some said that it consumes way too much battery.

That said, recent reports suggest F1 Clash players are having issues with matchmaking after the latest update (1,2,3,4,5). Many say they are unable to find a match no matter how long they wait.

Some said they tried changing their series, team score, and clearing app data but nothing seems to help. Below are some reports from F1 Clash players having matchmaking issues after the recent update.

Stuck looking for rival. It spins for 5 minutes and doesn’t find a match. I’ve tried changing series, tried changing my team score, tried going off data rather than wifi. I thought after a certain time it’s supposed to connect to bots. Surely at the start of a new season there should be loads of matches.
