Original story (published on November 2, 2021) follows:

Despite being launched four years ago in 2017, Fortnite has managed to remain one of the most popular online video games. Winning multiple awards, Fornite is still the most popular battle royale and one of the largest esports titles.

For the last three years, Fortnite contributed greatly to Epic Games’ earnings and generated a revenue of $5.1 billion last year. Many have also earned millions by just streaming the game.

Thanks to Epic Games releasing new content and regularly including new events. The game developers recently celebrated Halloween by bringing back the Fortnitemare event that brings in new cosmetics and items for players to collect by completing a set of challenges.

The event consists of 8 cosmetic items and includes a limited-time mode called Horde Rush. However, Fortnite players are now reporting that the Fortnitemare quest is bugged.

Many say they are unable to complete the quests since they are not tracking properly with them disappearing for some. This is preventing them from collecting the cosmetics from the event.

Fortnitemares quests are still bugged. After playing many games in team rumble and not appearing, these quests have returned. However, I have completed 2/3 and it still shows these, and neither would complete after attempting them in a game

Players are really disappointed since the event will be ending on November 2 with them not being able to collect the visual items. Numerous gamers said they have already reported the issue to Epic Games.

Fortunately, it seems that Epic Games is aware of the Fortnitemare quest being bugged and said they currently investigating the issue. However, there is no update on when a fix will be coming.
