Elgato has been into consumer technology products since 2010 with many people using its products across the globe.

However, it seems Elgato users have been facing an issue which is affecting the Key Light and Key Light Air devices.

As per multiple reports, users are unable to control the Key Light and Key Light Air devices with the Elgato Stream Deck plugin for Control Center.

Also, users reported that they are getting the ‘Elgato remote control plugin is missing’ message while changing the scenes with the Stream Deck plugin.

While it is unclear what the exact cause of the said issue is, it appears to be widespread and is inconveniencing many.

However, affected users may not have to dwell with the issue where the Stream Deck plugin for Control Center is not working with Key Light and Key Light Air.

This is because the said problem has been officially acknowledged by Elgato Support and it is under investigation.

Moreover, Elgato Support has provided affected users with a workaround until a fix for the said issue arrives.

The workaround involves controlling the Key Light and Key Light Air devices directly via the Control Center app.

It is good to see that support has acknowledged the issue and has also provided a temporary workaround.

However, there is no word on how long it will take to fix the problem as the acknowledgement does not include any ETA for the same.

Hopefully, Elgato soon resolves the said issue so that users can control their Key Light and Key Light Air devices with the Stream Deck plugin for Control Center without any hassle.

That said, we will report back with more details as and when we get new information to share so stay tuned.
