Just in case you’re trying to get your head around why Elden Ring isn’t working for you, find solace in the fact that you aren’t the only one facing issues lately.

Elden Ring players are now reporting that the game servers are currently down for them. A quick look at the micro-blogging site Twitter conveys that there are many others affected by the same issue.

For a quick glance, here’s how some of the complainants word the problem:

Fortunately, it turns out that the servers are currently down for maintenance. Elden Ring support had already informed players that the multiplayer servers will undergo maintenance for an hour.

This maintenance will also include an update to version 1.04. However, there is not much information available regarding this patch at the moment and the release notes will be available after the maintenance is complete.

Update 1 (April 20, 2022)

05:16 pm (IST): It seems that the maintenance is over and servers are back online as we haven’t come across any fresh user reports on Twitter. Also, the latest 1.04 patch is now available for Elden Ring players.

Update 2 (June 13, 2022)

12:39 pm (IST): Many players are now reporting (1, 2) that Elden Ring servers are currently down or not working for them. However, the support team on Twitter has clarified that the servers are down due to maintenance.

Update 3 (July 27, 2023)

01:29 pm (IST): Elden Ring is currently unavailable due to maintenance for the deployment of a new update.

The #ELDENRING servers will undergo maintenance today, July 27 to deploy patch 1.10.

This update contains balance & gameplay adjustments and bug fixes.

Maintenance will begin at 0:00 PDT | 09:00 CEST | 16:00 JST and last 3 hours on all platforms.
