[Updated] Dying Light 2 TechlandGG not working or down, issue acknowledged

Dying Light 2 is an FPS action game with hints of horror set in a post-apocalyptic world through which players must survive zombies and other dangers.

Dying Light 2 is also compatible with TechlandGG. For those who don’t know, TechlandGG is a platform through which new content for games developed by Techland can be purchased and claimed.

However, multiple reports have recently surfaced indicating that TechlandGG is not working with Dying Light 2, which means (among other things) that players cannot download new content from there (1, 2, 3).

The issue started to surface a few hours ago. At this time, the sync between TechlandGG and Dying Light 2 is still not working.

In addition to not being able to access new content, the issue also impacts progress in missions and challenges downloaded from TechlandGG. So, the tracking of those missions is not working properly.

Techlandgg quest not working again

So I noticed that today my techlandgg quests are not moving at all, and I wanted to complete them before starting DL2.
Are they disabled because DL2 is coming out or what?
I must note that yesterday I played DL1 and techlandgg quests were syncing (progressing correctly).

Techland GG Quest Progress not counting

Anyone here experiencing Techland gg quests that are not counting? Tried to go for the Gas Tanks quest and killed a total of 10 but after checking the site it’s not counting. Any heads up or comments will do. Thanks!

The issue reportedly affected some players even more severely. They point out not being able to access any match involving content from TechlandGG DLCs, as Dying Light 2 crashes when they try to do so.

I hate to crowd the sub, but I, along with other PC players CANT even start a new game. It attempts to load and then crashes before it finishes. I get no errors. Re-installing the game doesn’t fix it and I’m on the latest NVIDIA driver.

I’d like to play this game and im pretty disappointed that I can’t even load into a new game save.

Currently, the Techland team is aware of the problem and confirmed it through an official statement on their Twitter support account.

However, they only point out that they are working to resolve the issue, but there is no ETA for when everything will be back working normally again.

We will keep our eyes open for any further developments related to this matter and will update this story with any new information that arises.

05:34 pm (IST): Dying Light support team on Twitter said that they are aware of the TechlandGG not working and various other ongoing issues with the game. Moreover, the devs are working to resolve them.

12:47 pm (IST): Dying Light 2 team has listed a bunch of fixes that will arrive for gamers in the coming days via Hotfix. But unfortunately, there is no mention of the TechlandGG issue.

08:25 am (IST): Currently the TechlandGG website is again down or not working, preventing multiple users from accessing it (1, 2, 3).

11:00 am (IST): TechlandGG website outage has been resolved, so it is once again accessible to everyone.
