DuckDuckGo is a search engine whose main attraction is its focus on privacy. In this way, it wants to attract people who are dubious about the data collection policies of other big companies.

However, currently DuckDuckGo is down or not working for many users due to an outage on their main servers.

According to multiple reports, DuckDuckGo search engine is currently unavailable. Apparently, the problem could be related to problems with its main server.

Was another CDN busted again? So many services stopped working. DuckDuckGo, etc…

Currently, Azure Server Platform is undergoing an outage in North America. For those who don’t know, Azure servers power much of the internet.

So, the browser seems to be one of the services affected by the Azure crash or outage. In theory, you would have to wait for the Azure servers to be restored before DuckDuckGo springs back to life again.

There is still no official word on this issue from the DuckDuckGo team. We will be monitoring the situation to update this story as events unfold.

09:12 am (IST): According to the DuckDuckGo dev topic, the latest app version already available in the App Store fixes the latest reported issues.

11:27 am (IST): It appears that the DuckDuckGo app is currently down or not working for some.

05:37 pm (IST): The recent issue has been fixed as there are no fresh reports.
