New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on May 25, 2022) follows:

Dragon Ball Legends is the latest game in Akira Toriyama’s legendary franchise for mobile devices.

Dragon Ball Legends seeks to offer a visual experience similar to that of the successful games in the Budokai Tenkaichi saga. However, there are some notable changes needed to adapt the gameplay system to touch screens.

Like the games in the Budokai Tenkaichi series, Dragon Ball Legends features an almost ‘over-the-shoulder’ camera. In addition, players will be choosing attacks and moves with simple touches through a card system.

The game is available in free-to-play format for both Android and iOS mobile devices. That said, currently Dragon Ball Legends players are unable to access the game, due to its servers being down.

Dragon Ball Legends servers down, players unable to login

According to multiple reports, the game servers are down, which means that the login is not working. So, players are unable to access the game or their accounts.

We will update this story as new developments emerge on the matter.

Update 1 (May 25, 2022)

06:27 pm (IST): Dragon Ball Legends support on Twitter has confirmed that the login issue with the game has now been resolved.

A login issue with the app occurred at 2022/5/25 15:50 JST. Emergency maintenance was performed and the issue has been resolved. We will be distributing 250 Chrono Crystals in response. We apologize for the inconvenience. (Source)

Update 2 (April 12, 2023)

09:45 am (IST): Dragon Ball Legends has been down or not loading since a few minutes ago (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6). However, it is not due to outage but to scheduled maintenance (1, 2, 3).

It seems that multiple players were unaware of the maintenance (1, 2). The reason seems to be that the info was kinda ‘hidden’, only available in the in-game ‘News’ tab (which is still accessible).

05:39 pm (IST): The scheduled maintenance has now ended, so the game is accessible again.

Update 3 (June 28, 2023)

11:54 am (IST): Dragon Ball Legends players report ongoing server issues preventing them from accessing the game (1, 2, 3).

01:00 pm (IST): The latest reported server issues already seem to have been fixed.
