Disney Dreamlight Valley 'harvest not working' issue being looked into; fix for new gems not registering also in the works

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a popular ‘life simulation’ adventure game developed by Gameloft. It allows you to explore a huge world filled with many iconic characters from Disney franchises.

However, it is also common for players to encounter multiple bugs in the game. Here we have covered issues like crashing on PS4 consoles and progress not being tracked on some quests.

Now, Disney Dreamlight Valley players are facing a couple of issues where the harvest is not working and the new gems are not registering after the Scar update.

A few days ago, Disney Dreamlight Valley received the ‘Scar update’. This brought new story quest lines, scenarios and other improvements.

However, the update also brought a bug where the ‘harvest’ mechanic is not working for some Disney Dreamlight Valley players.

Help!

For some reason I cannot harvest any spices or herbs? At the moment trying to get vanilla but cannot harvest 🙁 Any idea how to fix this! Thanks 🙂

Vegetable/Flora Glitch

I can’t harvest/collect any vegetables, flowers, or herbs. It won’t even give me the option. Is there a way to fix this? I’ve exited out of the game and restarted it a few times, but nothing happens.

The issue prevents players from completing quests that require harvesting plants and spices. Also, it seems that the main cause of the problem seems to be modifying the time of the smartphone or console.

Fortunately, the Gameloft team is already aware of the issue and investigating.

The new update also brought a glitch that is affecting gem mining. More specifically, new gems are not registering as found in the ‘collection’ tab after mining them.

The problem is preventing players from completing the gems collection tab and getting the reward.

Anyone else having this issue?

Under Collections in the Gems section all the new gems are still unchecked even though I’ve mined all of them. Also Scrooge’s catalogue has put all the clothes I’ve already purchased at the beginning of the game.

New gems aren’t showing up in collection after I get them and I’ve gotten all of them now it’s just not showing I have should I maybe to sell them or just keep getting more and hope it registers that I’ve got them

The Gameloft team is also aware of this bug and working on a fix. However, there is no ETA for its rollout yet.
