Discord testing Members page showing who recently joined server, account age, invite link, roles, unusual DM activity & timed out flags

Discord has recently started testing a Members page that displays details of who has recently joined a server, the age of the joining account, and the invite link they used to join the server.

In addition to this, the page will also show information about one’s current server roles and flags for anomalous DM activity and timeouts.

With its user-friendly design and a range of management tools, the Members page will help simplify the process of handling server members. It will also help ensure smooth and efficient server operations.

As of now, access to the Members page is restricted to a small number of servers. In addition to this, one can only access the new page through a browser or desktop app.

Also, it is only visible to those team members who possess admin, ban, manage, or kick permissions.

Even so, a quick look at some user comments (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) suggests that people are quite happy with the recently introduced modifications.

Users think that the new page will be particularly helpful in countering DM spam. They feel that the inclusion of timeout flags for muted users and ‘suspicious DM activity’ is quite useful.

They believe that it will boost efficacy in catching scammers since administrators no longer need to wait for complaints. Also, they can take prompt action to maintain a spam-free and safe server environment.
