Notably, most of the reports are from Minecraft players. It seems that Discord is mistakenly identifying any program or game utilizing the ‘javaw.exe’ or ‘java.exe’ executable files.

What’s more irritating for users is that they cannot correct the mislabeled entry as it appears as verified.

They contend that the developers should tweak the feature to correctly identify a program or game by checking the process title after the process name.

One of those impacted says that their game appears correctly in the registered games list. However, the stream button on the corner mislabels it.

Another claims to have gotten worried that their account may have been hacked by someone during their voice chat.

People are now requesting the developers to fix this annoying glitch as soon as possible so that they can demonstrate their activities like before.
