Destiny 2 is one of the most popular games developed by Bungie. It is a free-to-play online multiplayer game where players experience first-person shooter combat.

That said, it looks like Destiny 2 players are grappling with two issues simultaneously. On one hand, the Season Pass seems bugged and not redeeming rewards.

While on the other hand, Ahoy and Aweigh quest is not registering progress for many (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9).

Players unable to claim Plundered Umbral Energy from Season Pass rewards

Destiny 2 players are reporting that they are unable to claim Plundered Umbral energy. Even when they have an active season pass, they’re still not able to unlock rewards.

I am rank 11 in the season pass and when I was going through the season pass claiming my rewards the game tells me that I need to have the Season pass to claim the Umbral Energy, yet when I check the season pass It says active.

@BungieHelp I’m not able to obtain my plunder umbral energy. Says it requires the season pass but I already have it active.

There are also some who are able to claim everything else on the bottom track except Umbral Energy even after purchasing.

Ahoy and Aweigh quest not progressing

Ketchcrash is a new activity that was introduced with a recent Destiny 2 update. However, many players (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) are reporting that Ketchcrash is not progressing and is stuck on Ahoy and Aweigh mission.

Some have even completed Ketchcrash activity multiple times in a row but the credits are still unattainable.

The issue is incredibly frustrating players as loot is also dropping way after successfully completing the activity.

Fortunately, Destiny 2 support has released an official statement addressing both issues. For players who can’t acquire Umbral energy from the Season Pass, the team has enlisted the following steps.

As for those stuck in Ahoy and Aweigh mission, Destiny 2 support says the team is actively investigating the progress delays.

While the team is still working on a fix, it has provided players with a temporary workaround. It involves waiting until the Scoreboard appears and the Activity timer returns a player to Orbit.

While we investigate progress delays for the Ahoy and Aweigh quest, a potential workaround to obtain progress for the Ketchcrash activity is to wait until the Scoreboard appears and the Activity timer returns you to Orbit.

Nevertheless, we hope that Destiny 2 Season Pass and Ketchcrash issues get fixed soon so that players can go back to claiming rewards and progressing missions untroubled.

Update 1 (August 25)

05:42 pm (IST): Some players are now reporting (1, 2, 3) that the quests for the catalyst (Mayhem and Nightfall) from Season Pass are also bugged and they are stuck at step 2 out of 3 steps.

Update 2 (August 26)

05:41 pm (IST): In the recent TWAB (This Week at Bungie), the game maker has re-assured players that they are investigating the issue where gamers are unable to claim Plundered Umbral Energy from Season Pass.

However, they did not provide any ETA for the fix.
