Behaviour Interactive recently released the list of changes that will be implemented on the Public Test Build of Dead by Daylight this week.

The upcoming update will introduce several exciting features, make balance changes, and implement Survivor Disconnect Bots.

In addition to this, the patch also adds a ‘Successful Report’ feature to provide feedback on reported players. The latest update brings adjustments to Onryo’s abilities and add-ons as well. However, some are unhappy.

Dead by Daylight players unimpressed with changes to Sadako, TV Projection nerf and much more

By looking at the recent reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9), it appears that multiple Dead by Daylight players are dissatisfied with the changes introduced to Sadako, the TV Projection nerf, and much more.

They allege that Sadako will become one of the slowest killers as her Projection ability will be limited by a 15-second cooldown and the mechanics will become centered around condemned.

And this is undeniably disheartening for all those who wanted to play the game again with Sadako’s character. Gamers are of the view that the developers should remove the projection cooldown from the new Sadako update.

One of those impacted says that after the recent changes, cooldown on TVs will become a constant issue. They also mention that the accumulation of stacks will remain slow as well.

Another alleges that obtaining a Cursed Tape now offers several advantages and minimal drawbacks.

They also add that disabling a TV now results in a lengthy cooldown of 90 seconds, which is equivalent to the time required to fully repair a generator.

It has also been asserted that the recent change effectively eliminates Sadako’s ability to disrupt generator progress.

How could you make Sadako worse? You brick here teleport with a cool down and put all her mechanics into condemned, and then make any tv viable to use to remove it? What???

As Sadako main I was so excited to hear about the changes but after reading them…. They are bad. TVs will just constantly be on cooldown while stacks would still build up too slowly.

Players argue that Sadako should be allowed to sacrifice condemned stacks of survivors to turn on TVs, preventing teleportation from obstructing her power and increasing survivor interaction with tapes.

Until then, we will keep an eye on this topic and update this article with the latest developments.
