Online asymmetric multiplayer survival horror Dead by Daylight has been under serious scrutiny due to the increasing number of cheaters. Despite the implementation of anti-cheat measures by the developers, the prevalence of hackers shows no sign of diminishing.

The game has introduced a combination of automated bans, in-game countermeasures, and manual bans to combat cheating.

Furthermore, the developers have outlined a four-point plan for future anti-cheat measures, which includes actions such as adding failsafes to common exploits and implementing server-side validation more frequently.

Dead by Daylight cheaters report

Despite a substantial number of bans issued, with over 200,000 players banned in the game’s lifetime, some players have reported encountering hackers on both PC and console platforms.

According to reports, these hackers are capable of moving much faster and lunging further compared to normal players. Currently, the only recourse is to report the hackers to ensure their banishment.

How to report a cheaters in Dead by Daylight?

To report a hacker in Dead by Daylight, players must first report the player in-game. This can be done by accessing the ‘recent players’ list and selecting the player to be reported.

Subsequently, they should choose the appropriate category for their report, such as cheating or hacking. Additionally, they can submit supplementary evidence to support the report, such as video evidence, by contacting Dead by Daylight support.

It is crucial to note that players should only report serious offenses like cheating, hacking, or DOX/death threats directly to the support team.
