Despite its rather vast catalog of devices, Oppo has been pretty steadfast and methodical when it comes to rolling out its Android 11-based ColorOS 11 to eligible devices.

We have a dedicated tracker that’s following every release and you can check it out for a more granular look at how Oppo is working on its Android 11 deployment.

Even as more and more devices continue to bag Android 11-based ColorOS 11, Oppo is already working on a point release of this firmware in the form of ColorOS 11.2.

See, we’ve recently seen the official unveiling of the company’s 2021 flagship devices, the Oppo Find X3 and Oppo Find X3 Pro. These devices come packed with the latest 2021 internals you’d expect.

Perhaps one of the headlining features of this device is the debut of the company’s ColorOS 11.2. So what does this new custom operating system bring to the table?

Well, at the moment, we don’t have a clear picture of everything that is new in this build of ColorOS but from what we know, these are the new features.

– Art+ wallpapers
– Custom composed ringtones

Some believe that the list of eligible devices could be similar to that of devices from the company that are eligible for the ColorOS 11 update. That said, there are bound to be hardware limitations to older devices and as such, here is the predicted list of eligible devices.

On the matter of a release date, Oppo hasn’t exactly been forthcoming with details on the same. That said, we shall continue to keep an eye on this story and update as and when we get more info so stay tuned.
