New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on October 08, 2021) follows:

Call of DUty: Warzone has been around since 2020 across platforms like Windows, Xbox, PS4, and PS5. It is also connected to the upcoming COD: Vanguard which is also going to be latest entry in the Call of Duty series.

COD: Warzone recently bagged the update to Season 6 which offers of a bunch of tiered Battle Pass items, events, and modes. All in all, the latest season patch offers a lot of goodies to Warzone enthusiasts.

However, the latest Warzone update is also causing some problems for players. According to multiple reports on Twitter, the Armory in COD: Warzone is bugged and is kicking players back to Play Menu.

Basically, the Armory is not working for Warzone players after the Season 6 update and they are unable to access, equip, or modify their items in the game. This is inconveniencing many as they are unable to change their loadouts.

Also, there are currently no workarounds for this problem and even generic troubleshooting like restarting and reinstalling the game is not helping affected players. All this is further adding to their dilemma.

@RavenSoftware Armory is broken on PC. Click on it when wanting to select weapon blueprints and it just kicks you back to the “Play” menu. I sure would like to play with different blueprints but I guess that’s not an option. #Warzone #CallofDuty

Season 6 broke MW guns’ blueprints; I can’t look at or select any at all for pistols and for the M4A1 I can only pick from 5 even though I have 13… I just get kicked to the main menu when clicking ‘armory’… @RavenSoftware #Warzone #warzoneseason6

It must be noted that Warzone players were facing some frontend performance issues like hitching and low FPS but the Season 6 update did not address those problem and instead brought a new one.

It is unclear why the Armory is not working or is inaccessible in COD: Warzone but the Season 6 patch appears to have caused this as reports regarding the issue started pooling in after the latest update.

However, affected players may not have to contend with the bug where Armory is not working in COD: Warzone Season 6 along with issues like low FPS and hitching.

This is because Raven Software support has acknowledged the aforementioned issues stating that these problems are on their radar. Moreover, it has also been said that more information regarding the upcoming fixes will be shared soon.

Another thing to note here is that Raven Software has listed the issues with hitching, low FPS, and Armory kicking players on their Warzone Trello board with the ‘Fix Scheduled’ label.

However, the game developer has not provided any specific timeline for the upcoming fixes so it is unclear how long it will take to address the aforementioned issues.
