COD Warzone players report Season 2 Battle Pass progression too slow or takes long to level up

Released in March of 2020, COD Warzone is a free-to-play first person Battle Royale title. While it is linked to the predecessor – Modern Warfare – the game does not require that you own the previous title.

With support for up to 200 players in game modes, Warzone is definitely a fast paced title with every match packing a lot of heat and action.

Due to its massive popularity, Raven Software frequently updates the game with new content with players sometimes encountering bugs such as inconsistent map pins and ‘Content package is no longer available’ error message.

Adding to the trouble, COD Warzone players are now saying (1,2,3,4,5) that the Season 2 Battle Pass progression is too slow. Many say its taking way too long for them to level up.

It looks like the slow progression is frustrating a lot of Warzone players who just want to level up their Battle Pass and collect associated rewards.

Waht is wrong with Battlepass this SeasonI just don´t get it. Playing countless games of rebirth, but my Battlepass Level moves about not at all. I played 7 matches yesterday with my brother. I am engaging, fighting, killing stuff, making contracts… He is mainly camping and staying alive during rebirth countdown, making 0-2 kills at max in a match, picking up plunder contracts. I see my BP moving about a thumbnail broad, he says he made 2 full BP levels while we played. just..why…

Ever since Season 2 of Vanguard started I have barely gained any normal XP from playing the game. I mainly play Rebirth and I know you get less XP in this mode than normal BR but I still feel like I’m not leveling up. I have been playing for about 7 hours in the last two days and I’ve only gone up from Level 5/6 to Level 10. Yesterday I have been playing for about two and a half hours and only gained one level, close to two, with Double XP enabled.

Unfortunately, Call of Duty Warzone developers (Raven Software) are yet to comment on the Battle Pass slow progression issue.
