New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…

Original story (published on June 1, 2021) follows:

COD: Warzone players are no strangers to random bugs and issues popping up while gaming. Of course, it isn’t the only game that has problems but the frequency at which they pop up is rather disappointing.

Recently, we ran a poll asking readers whether or not they’ve noticed an increase in the number of Dev errors in the game and 90% agreed that it’s become a mess.

That wasn’t even taking into account all the other issues that players come across every now and then.

Speaking of which, COD: Warzone players are now reporting that Emblems for Prestige 8 and above are not appearing or missing in the Emblems menu.

Does anyone have any prestige emblems higher than level 8 unlocked? I’m at Prestige 9 with that Antman looking emblem but I can’t seem to find and equip it at all. (Source)

So i got every prestige emblem up to prestige 7, i just reached prestige 9 but i have not been awarded the prestige 8 emblem. (Source)

sometime in season 2 it seems like you no longer unlock emblems after prestige 9. Well I didn’t at least. (Source)

Needless to say, this has left many COD: Warzone players puzzled since they’ve reached Prestige 8 and above but are unable to get the Emblems.

Making matters worse, it appears that the problem has been around for at least a month as we came across reports from early May while rounding up information for the post.

But fortunately, Activision has acknowledged the problem in its official tracker for known issues in Call of Duty: Warzone.

The company has confirmed that they’re investigating the issue where Emblems for Prestige 8 and above are not appearing in the menu but have not shared an ETA for the fix.

It is apparently affecting users on all platforms according to the official word. That said, this isn’t the only problem affecting Warzone players.

Activision has also acknowledged the memory error affecting Xbox users, Dev error 5573, and a few other problems.

That said, we’ll post an update if and when there are any further developments regarding the missing Prestige Emblems in COD: Warzone.

Update (October 21)

10:43 am (IST): This issue where Emblems for Prestige 8 and above were not appearing in the Emblems menu has been resolved.
