COD Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Gold Enigma camo unlocking issue under investigation

The new-age Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies mode reportedly faces some challenges with its Gold Enigma camo. Allegedly, the associated challenge is bugged, and as per player complaints, the challenge fails to complete, regardless of the progress they make.

To unlock the Golden Enigma camo for every weapon in Modern Warfare 3’s Zombies mode, players must complete four challenges and level up the weapon to a specific amount.

The challenges vary for each weapon, encompassing achieving a certain number of kills, obtaining kills in designated zones, securing kills with specific perks, and more.

Upon unlocking all four base camos, players gain access to the Golden Enigma Camo Challenge, which mandates achieving a specific number of zombie kills with the weapon and successfully extracting.

However, reports suggest an issue with the challenge. Players state that despite meeting all criteria and kill requirements, they are unable to complete the challenge.

Some even claim that surpassing the required kill count doesn’t progress the challenge, making it nearly impossible to obtain the Gold Enigma camo reward.

As the reports accumulated, the developers took notice of the issue, expressing that they were actively investigating and working on a fix.

On a positive note, the Trello card on the official Call of Duty board indicates a ‘fix released’ label.

Hence, for players still encountering this problem, we strongly recommend checking for updates. If none are available yet, waiting for an update seems to be the plausible approach to resolving this issue.
