If you are a Call of Duty player, you must be familiar with the famous Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War zombie map, “Die Maschine.”

In case you aren’t, it is the third zombie map in the game and the first one in the Dark Aether story. And players have had hours of fun killing zombies on the map.

Back in 2019, even COD Mobile had a Zombie mode, but the developers removed it because they felt it wasn’t good enough.

A couple of months ago, COD Mobile developers announced that the beloved Zombie mode would be making a return sometime later this year. However, it won’t be like the previous version.

Since then, players have been eagerly awaiting the release of Season 6 and the Zombie mode. Having said that, a couple of gamers have spotted that the game icon has changed on the Brazilian app store.

It now features the undead version of Primis Richtofen alongside Simon Ghost Riley on the left. In the background, you can clearly see a zombie with the Dark Aether jellyfish from Die Maschine.

This has hyped up the COD Mobile player base with gamers wondering if Die Maschine will be coming to COD Mobile.

COD-Zombies

Since the new Zombie mode will be significantly different from the previous one, we wonder if the developers will borrow some features from other Call of Duty games like Cold War Zombies.

Players would definitely welcome some depth to the Zombie mode instead of just dropping in a location and shooting waves of endless zombies.

Since COD Mobile features characters from the Call of Duty franchise but has its separate storyline, we do not expect it to continue in other games.
