ChatGPT’s ‘Browse with Bing’ feature integrates Microsoft’s Bing search engine into the conversation, enabling the model to fetch and present information from the web.

This integration significantly enhances the utility of ChatGPT, transforming it into a versatile tool that bridges the gap between AI and the web.

The ‘Browse with Bing’ feature was only accessible to Plus subscribers, who were delighted to have this added functionality as part of their subscription.

It provided a seamless experience and was a convenient feature that enhanced the overall user experience.

However, recent developments have left users frustrated and dissatisfied. Instead of being able to enjoy the ‘Browse with Bing’ feature, users are encountering an error message stating, ‘Unusual traffic in your account’.

This unexpected roadblock has led to confusion and irritation among those who were eagerly looking forward to utilizing this feature.

We are not happy about this, this should not be in Beta stages ? What were your testers doing in Alpha stages? You need to improve alot and even plugin submissions are mess it takes more time than 1 week for no reason. No fixed rules for all users

To make matters worse, users who paid for this feature are now demanding refunds. They feel that since they paid for a service that is no longer available, they should be compensated accordingly.

Issue acknowledged

OpenAI support has clarified that the ‘Browse with Bing’ feature has been temporarily disabled due to technical issues.

The company has acknowledged that the feature occasionally displayed content that was not appropriate or intended, which led to its suspension.
