A peculiar issue with Canva has arisen that’s causing a bit of frustration among users. Canva users are now reporting that their chosen fonts are suddenly auto switching to Arimo or Times New Roman.

Users say that when they are working a project in Canva and select some fonts to write, they mysteriously change to Arimo or Times New Roman without their consent.

This font auto-switching phenomenon has sparked concern among users who want to user their favorite fonts but can’t due to this glitch. Here are some reports for reference:

@canva your fonts aren’t working and auto change to “Arimo”?? No matter the doc or a different account I use it does this. There’s nothing in the help center. There’s no setting to fix this. (Source)

Needing help, @canva! Why are my fonts constantly glitching and changing? And why is it only happening when I’m on my work computer and nowhere else? 🤷🏻‍♀️ (Source)

The font auto-switching glitch isn’t an isolated incident. Multiple Canva users have reported encountering the same problem.

Fortunately, this issue has been acknowledged by the support team. Moreover, they’ve confirmed that the team is currently working to fix it.

Hi, Ciptho! We’re aware of this and working on a fix soon. For now, please try clearing your cache, cookies, and browser history, then refresh the page. If that doesn’t work, please send us a report here: https://bit.ly/3hZuKgt. ^nc (Source)

Regrettably, there’s currently no potential workaround to fix this issue. Hence, those affected have to wait until devs come up with a definitive solution.
