The wait is finally over as the new season for Call of Duty Modern Warfare & Warzone is going to drop today. Modern Warfare Season 4 got delayed due to the death of George Floyd which sparked protests all across the USA.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 4 is going to add a heap of new content for the game. Also, the new season will introduce a new Battle Pass to the game. Considering the last few weeks or so, this is one of the most anticipated updates for Modern Warfare as a lot of exciting content coming in Season 4 & Warzone Season 2.
The new patch for the game will go live on June 10 at 11 pm PDT. This information was shared by Infinity Ward on their official Twitter handle. There is some good news for Call of Duty Modern Warfare players, who were facing troubles due to massive sizes of updates.
Ashton Williams, Sr. Communications Manager for Infinity Ward took the route of Twitter to convey the following information, “We’re continuing to sweep all assets to make size reductions where we can, and also further optimize future patches for size. If helpful, one reminder for console players, you can uninstall the content packs for modes that you’re not playing if you want to free up space.”
“The Season 4 download is going to be large. In order to reduce the overall disc space that MW and WZ take up, we’re compressing a bunch of assets. Once installed, the S4 launch will only take up an additional 4GB on consoles for all of the new content.”
Well, the official patch notes for the upcoming update & Season 4 has been released. Scrapyard has arrived as a new map. Also, a new mode Warzone Rumble has been added to the game. You can check the complete patch notes for the update down below.
The official Trello page for Modern Warfare has listed some fixes which has been incorporated in the Season 4 update. An issue of black corruption following some players on screen has been fixed in this update. You can check more fixes in the list down below.
Multiplayer fixes
- Fixed an error 13-71 caused by Regiments.
- Fixed an issue where character model eyes aren’t looking the way they should.
- Fixed an issue where Season 3 Emblem not awarding properly.
- Fixed an issue where players are were unable to get a nuke with a blueprint weapon.
- Fixed an issue with challenges unlocking for Talon.
- Fixed a visual bug where players challenges resetting to zero.
- Fixed an issue where the player was able to move around during the match countdown.
- Fixed an issue where players are seeing graphical corruption while playing MP.
- Fixed an issue of black corruption following them on screen
Warzone fixes
- Fixed an error 13-71 caused by Regiments.
- Fixed issues with voice chat after our 4/28 update.
- Fixed a rare issue where a player found weapons appearing on the ground while in the Gulag.
- Fixed a bug where a Contract appeared to be stuck inside a resupply station.
- Fixed an issue in the Gulag where a player was able to use a weapon other than what is intended.
- Fixed an issue where players were unable to bring squad mate back in the match from Buy Station.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 4 has added a new operator to the game & it is an iconic & fan favorite, Captain Price. Players will be able to get this new operator under the tier rewards of Battle Pass. The cost of the Premium Battle Pass will be 1000 COD points or $10.
