New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on September 28, 2021) follows:

Brawl Stars is a fast-paced 3v3 multiplayer battle royale game available on mobiles and tablets running Android or iOS. There are various game modes to enjoy, be it solo or with friends.

Developed and published by a Finnish video game company, Brawl Stars was released back in December 2018 and received good feedback from the gamers community.

The game was running perfectly until recently when some iOS users started to encounter an issue with characters outline. As per user reports, updating to the latest iOS 15 makes brawlers/characters outlines blurry.

@Frank_Supercell @BrawlStars @Paula_Supercell @Dani_Supercell Hello! I upgraded to iOS 15 and the outline of the brawlers have lost resolution 🙁

According to multiple reports (1, 2, 3), players are getting a thin line around the brawler in the menu and in the game that becomes blurry when the character moves.

This doesn’t seem like a big problem on paper, but after all, the character is the main focus of the game and this could ruin the gameplay experience.

Since iOS 15 update is still pretty new, it’s likely that the Brawl Stars video game isn’t fully optimized to work with Apple’s latest software, hence the character outline bug.

So far, there are no such reports from Android players of the game or the ones who are running the previous iOS version. Or at least we haven’t come across any by the time of this writing.

However, the company has already acknowledged this bug, noting that it has something to do with the iOS 15 update. The official also confirmed that it won’t get fixed with the next software update but they are aware of the problem.

Although, no ETA has been provided for Brawl Stars iOS 15 issue as of now and we hope that this annoying bug gets fixed in a future software update sooner than that.

iOS 15 is the latest generation of Apple’s mobile operating system released just recently. And this is not the only bug that users have had to deal with so far.

Update 1 (October 09)

05:12 pm (IST): With the recent maintenance update for the game, the developers addressed the following issues:

Optional Client – Already available for both Android and iOS!

– Fixed anti-aliasing on iOS 15
– Fixed Meg’s face when in her Mecha
– Fixed Star Power/Gadget selection in Power League/Friendly Games
– Fixed the minecart animation in Minecart Madness
– Fixed some overflow issues on smaller iPads
– Fixed some Localization issues

Fixed with Maintenance:

– Fixed 8-bit Super not giving consistent damage boost between skins
– Fixed some Bo skins having increased attack radius

It’s unclear whether the anti-aliasing fix is intended towards the thick black outline issue that popped up after the iOS 15 update.
