Bloodhunt is a popular free-to-play Battle Royale game available for Windows OS devices and PlayStation 5 consoles.
Bloodhunt differs from other modern battle royales thanks to its setting. While cartoonish or realistic settings are usually the most common, this game implements a dark and supernatural setting.
More specifically, the scenarios, characters, lore, items, weapons, abilities, and more are inspired by the World of Darkness franchise.
Recently, Bloodhunt received the June patch update with some fixes and tweaks. But, it seems that the update brought changes to the control system that players are not liking (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10).
According to multiple reports, Bloodhunt controller aiming experience feels worse now, and many players demand more controller settings to fix this (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10).

Apparently, Bloodhunt controller aiming feels worse after June patch due to changes in parameters like sensitivity.
Horrible. They messed with the Bloodhunt controller aiming sensitivity and it’s now way to slow for me I get shot from behind and I’m fucked. 35+ min queue waits. Game is dead. Not worth it on console. Pc is a whole different story but not everybody has or plays on pc.

What do you guys on controller think of the new update?
Idk why but Bloodhunt controller aiming feels so much worse for me on PS5. I kinda hope they revert. Maybe a little more magnetism was all they needed but now it feels terrible and I can’t aim worth a crap. Before my aim was pretty good.

Bloodhunt controller deadzones is another parameter that is not correctly adjusted in the settings, according to players.
Nah it’s not the aim assist, it’s the weird deadzone the game has. I shouldn’t have to move my stick past a certain amount to get it to work. Unless I choose to have the deadzone of course.

Bloodhunt players demand more controller settings
Many players suggest Bloodhunt devs should add more customizable parameters to the controller settings. In this way, each player will be able to adjust the controller to their liking.
It was at a 1 before, I’d put it at a 4 now they need to add a lot more settings. There is still little to no aim assist so if they are going to make crossplay the norm they are going to have to add some.

Meanwhile, PS5 players (and PC players using controller instead of keyboard + mouse) are at a huge disadvantage, and even consider the game ‘unplayable’.
Only games are crossplay. Not parties or lobbies. This means, that PS5 players are just farmed out to PC players due to the horrible aiming mechanics, draw distance, and performance. I would just drop this game.

There is no official acknowledgment of the issue from Sharkmob yet. However, in response to the reports, they encourage players to submit related feedback perhaps for further analysis.

03:47 pm (IST): Responding to a gamer’s query regarding the controller issue, Bloodhunt support said that they are working to resolve it. However, they did not provide any ETA for the fix.
