Here’s the crux of the article in video form:

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt is one of the latest entrants in the Battle Royale genre. Developed and published by Sharkmob, it was released in April this year.

The free-to-play title is set in the world of darkness with matches taking place on the streets and rooftops of Prague.

While both players and critics have praised the title for its fast-paced gameplay and unique mechanics, issues such as players getting storm damage even when not in storm and the weapon reload bug have ruined the gameplay experience for many.

While Sharkmob is working to fix the aforementioned problems, Bloodhunt players are now reporting that their account progress is being reset following a server error.

Many are confused and wondering why they lost account progress in the first place. Generic troubleshooting solutions such as restarting the game and verifying game files via Steam do not seem to help either.

Below are a few reports from Bloodhunt players complaining about account progress getting reset.

My entire progress was reset and they won’t fix it. I made a post on here when it first happened. I was player level 45, and following a server error was reset to zero. My quests also got reset, and the archetype I was playing as got reset too. I have since got a reply from support that they are aware of the situation, but no indication of them fixing my already reset account. Hours of progress lost with no explanation.

All my progress was reset. I’ve clocked 6 hours today, and I got disconnected from the server. When I reconnected my progress on my clan, quests….basically all progress excluding the battlepass were reset. Is there anyway I can fix this? Or do I just have to start all the way over.

As it turns out, Bloodhunt developers (Sharkmob) seem to be aware of the account progress reset bug and said they are working on a fix. However, they did not share any ETA of when the problem will be resolved.

we are already aware of the issue and working on a fix 🙂

We hope Bloodhunt developers fix the problem at the earliest since players are angry over losing hours of gameplay. Rest assured, we will be updating this space when they issue is resolved so make sure you stay tuned.
