Battlefield 2042 players are reporting severe black screen issues in the game. According to various reports, players are encountering a black screen that can only be resolved by restarting. Additionally, there are reports of glitches causing inactive mouse input.
Battlefield 2042 Black Screen Issue
After the release of the 6th season, players are reporting the return of the notorious black screen issue with even greater intensity. Numerous reports indicate that players experience multiple black screen problems randomly during their playthroughs.
Upon reviewing the reports, it appears that the issue may stem from textures not loading properly or the game crashing midway. Despite being present in the game for some time, the ‘black screen’ issue has reportedly become more severe after recent updates.
The black screens do not seem to occur at any specific time in the game. Reports suggest that players witness the issue at the start of the game, in the middle of a match, and sometimes even after finishing a game.
However, the support team at EA has acknowledged the issue and stated that they are actively working to resolve it. According to the team, the issue is proving to be more challenging to fix than initially anticipated.
Increasing Mouse Freezing, Lagging, or Stuttering Issues
Various player reports indicate issues with the game’s performance. According to these reports, PC players claim that the game is not registering mouse inputs. While they can use WASD to move around, the inputs from their mouse are not being recognized.
In addition to the mouse issue, there are also reports of increasing performance problems, including lagging, stuttering, and more.
The mouse inputs issue has been acknowledged by the support team. Their official statement claims that they have identified the issue and are currently working on a fix. The support team has also urged players to submit tickets if they experience any lag or performance issues.
