Developed by Bethesda Game Studios, Fallout 76 is one game that loves to make headlines for all the wrong reasons.

It is an online action RPG game that was released in November of 2018 and is available on PC, Xbox and PlayStation.

While the rest of the Fallout franchise is known for its storyline and gameplay, Fallout 76 is known as the game with the most bugs.

Unsurprisingly, players have found another bug that affects the in-game currency called Atoms.

Users can make use of this currency to buy items such as weapon and armour skins, emotes, outfits and much more.

Recently, several Fallout 76 players found out that they received extra Atoms even though they haven’t bought them.

@BethesdaSupport I tried to submit a ticket but the page wouldn’t load. I have an issue with my atoms on Fallout 76. I had about 200 but after logging on today it’s at 61,585. They just showed up. I haven’t bought anything with them and I’m not going to. Could I have some help?

Players say they were confused and reported the issue to Bethesda immediately. Fallout 76 developers quickly acknowledged the extra Atoms bug and said they were working on a fix.

They also asked players not to spend the extra Atoms on the account. Allegedly, Bethesda is banning accounts that have spent extra Atoms.

If this is true, it is really unfair of Bethesda to ban players for something they didn’t do in the first place. In fact, the developers should let the accounts be and roll back the purchases made.

No wonder Bethesda acknowledged the issue immediately since it is the only way the game makes money.

We wish Bethesda worked on other Fallout 76 issues as fast as they are working to fix the extra Atoms bug.
