This issue came to light recently and has since been acknowledged multiple times by BBC. The latest update on the matter indicates that a fix is currently being developed.

In the meantime, BBC has provided an official workaround to ensure users have access to more accurate forecasts.

According to the support team on Twitter, BBC recommends tuning in to specific radio shows and TV programs for more accurate forecasts during this period of technical difficulty.

Specifically, users can join Simon King on BBC Radio 4’s ‘Today’ program, as well as BBC 5 Live, or catching Matt Taylor on BBC Breakfast for most reliable and trustworthy weather updates until the bug is fixed.
