Back 4 Blood is the upcoming FPS video game that is set to launch on October 12. Developed by title Rock Studios and published by Warner Bros, this game will be available on different platforms including Xbox, PlayStation, and Windows.

Back 4 Blood is already available in early access for those who pre-ordered it. This video game is available to play in both solo and multiplayer mode.

But unfortunately, in solo mode, gamers can’t earn anything and everything is already unlocked which makes it a bit less interesting compared to multiplayer.

Many players have voiced their opinions regarding the rather bland solo mode in Back 4 Blood stating that it seems more like a trial mode where you can’t earn achievements and there are no supply points either.

So, there’s no progression you can make by playing in solo mode, and instead, it’s is all about playing in teams.

I absolutely would not have spent $80 on this game had I known this. I don’t play with other people. Ugh. (Source)

You can play solo sure but it’s a complete waste of time, you can’t earn literally anything from it (Source)

On the brighter side, solo gameplay will let you experience all content of the game as you will have everything already unlocked. But you won’t get any supply points to progress your multiplayer game.

Moreover, progression is something that makes a game exciting where you earn points, unlock new stuff, and grow at your own pace. Gamers seem disappointed with lack of progression when playing solely.

Meanwhile, it is good to see that Turtle Rock Studios have heard complaints about solo mode and devs are currently discussing ways on how they can improve existing solo mode.

We hope that devs succeed in adding some kind of progression to solo gameplay in order to make it interesting, moreover, players may be able to earn XP and even use them to make progress in the game.
