Everybody is anticipating Android 10 OTA notification to awaken their screens. Apart from Google Pixel and a few flagship models, none got to enjoy what the new iteration brings. You know Android 10 marks the end of an era by carrying a non-dessert name!

In case you are not aware, the first public build went live for Pixel phones on 3 September. Essential followed the same trend from the previous year to untie the update within hours. At the same time, Xiaomi made a surprise move to rollout Android 10 for Redmi K20 Pro.

While waiting for the update, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and S10 users heard a disappointing news pertaining to the fingerprint sensor. A couple could bypass the biometric barrier after applying a ‘gelscreen protector’ on an S10.

With a thick black mark already on the track record (Galaxy *cough* Note 7 *cough*), Samsung couldn’t sit idle. The South Korean company released the fix via a new biometrics update at once. Nonetheless, the carrier-locked units didn’t receive it.

And, here it comes! AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon units have started getting the fix through the new over the air overhauls. In addition to the new biometrics firmware, all these builds bring November security patch.

To recall, Samsung started delivering November security update to the Exynos-powered Note 10 a couple of days back in Switzerland via a stable channel. And, it became one of the few devices to have received the patch.

Getting back to the present update, all three packages weigh around 200 MB in size with almost the same changelog. Except for the security patch, the prime change they bring is the new biometrics firmware that fixes the fingerprint sensor bug.

As for Verizon, they are rolling out System Update 3 for Note 10+ 5G. In fact, the changelog doesn’t tell a different story, though. You get the same fingerprint sensor fix akin to At&T and T-Mobile variants.

Yesterday, U.S. unlocked Galaxy Note 10 bagged an OTA with camera and keyboard improvements. Guess what! With the carrier branded units, the unlocked one is also getting a new update with the same changelog. Of course, the security patch has been bumped upto November.
