Original story (published on June 30, 2021) follows:

Ever since its release, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla has been plagued with numerous bugs and glitches.

Matter of fact, we’ve even covered some of these problems that you can check out here, here and here.

And it seems that there’s still no end in sight as the infamous Assassin’s Creed Saint Faith bug is back again.

ACV1

What is the Saint Faith bug?

There are various reports from gamers worldwide stating that they are unable to start the Saint Faith mystery in Hamtunscire.

Upon reaching the location, the game refuses to let the players interact with the shouting priest. Thus, has left many frustrated over their inability to complete the quest.

As a result, many players are unable to achieve 100% completion. Others say it is stopping them from unlocking the Platinum achievement.

Moreover, Ubisoft has been aware of the Assassin’s Creed Saint Faith issue for a while.

In fact, the 1.2.2 patch that was supposed to resolve the issue. However, even after the recent update, users were complaining about the problem.

Is anybody else still having a Saint Faith world event bug? I cannot talk to the Priest to start the event. I know it was a bug in the past but the notes in 1.2.2 said it was fixed. Anybody having the same issue?(Source)

Anyone else not able to do this mystery? Its my last one and it shows everyone but wont let me interact with the priest. (Source)

Fortunately, the company was quick to respond. Ubisoft said that a fix for Saint Faith is coming in a future update but gave no ETA for the same.

It’s been more than five months since the Saint Faith bug popped up first. So, we hope the fix comes in sooner rather than later.

Assassin’s Creed Trial of the Morrigan in Connacht issue

In another similar instance to the Saint Faith glitch, many players are facing an issue with the Trial of the Morrigan in Connacht.

Again, hundreds if not thousands of players have reported that they cannot complete the Trial of the Morrigan quest. Users report that even after killing all enemies, the quest is marked as incomplete.

However, for some players, the fog rises, and they get the XP. But when looking at the map and achievements, the quest still shows up as unfinished.
No matter what you do, the Trial of the Morrigan cannot be completed.

This is regarding the trial of the morrigan in Connacht, next to lough Rea.

I have killed all of the druids, I even get the xp and the fog clears. But it remains on the map and I can interact with the alter again to start the trial! Although this a nice infinite concept farm I would love to get the completion.

I have loaded a save prior to discovering the trial to see if that fixes it but it does not. I have also tried fast traveling to no avail.

If anyone has a fix for this or any help at all it’s much appreciated. (Source)

It’s great to see, in this thread, that ‘Saint Faith’ will be fixed; however, any news on the Connacht ‘Trial of the Morrigan’? I’m unable to get these last two achievements as a result.

Brilliant game otherwise though! (Source)

Luckily, it seems that Ubisoft is aware of the issue and it’s currently under investigation. Thus, players can expect to see a fix soon.

Like the aforementioned bug, players are getting frustrated because they are unable to unlock the 100% completion achievement.

We hope Ubisoft step up their game and release an update fixing both issues. For now, it looks like only the Saint Faith bug will be fixed in the next update but things might change down the line.

As usual, we’ll post an update if and when there are any further developments regarding the two bugs mentioned here.

Update (August 06)

IST 12:36 pm: Now, reports from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players (1,2,3,4)
indicate that they’re unable to complete the Trial of the Morrigan in Ulster. The game-maker now notes that this issue is under investigation.
