Arlo is a popular name when it comes to home automation and many people use its Smart Home products.

While the home automation vendor primarily deals in wireless security cameras, it also provides video doorbells and accessories for its products.

The Arlo app is available on iOS and Android and it can be used to easily manage appliances from the vendor.

However, it seems that iOS users are facing an issue where the Arlo Smart Home notifications are showing time in the 24 hour format.

This is causing inconvenience to those who are familiar with the 12 hour time format. Also, the issue might not be related to the system time format or region.

This is because users have said that they have not changed their system time and region settings. While it is unclear what the exact cause of the said issue is, users may not have to face it for long.

The Arlo Community Twitter handle has acknowledged the issue, noting that the relevant team is working to fix it at the backend.

The development team is investigating these reports. We will provide an update as soon as we have more information to share with the community.

This further indicates that an app update or iOS system settings might not be at play here and the problem might indeed be at Arlo’s backend.

It is still good to see that the issue is being looked into. So, users can expect a fix for the same in the near future.

However, this is still based on our speculation as Arlo Community has not provided any ETA in the acknowledgement.

Hopefully, Arlo soon fixes the issue so that iOS users can again keep track of their app notifications in their preferred time format without any hassle.

That said, we will report back with more details as and when we get new information to share so stay tuned.
