It seems that Apple Pay is currently down or not working for a section of users.

If you’ve been trying to make a quick and convenient purchase with Apple Pay but can’t, rest assured – you’re not the only one facing this issue.

Users have reported difficulties with Apple Pay not working as expected. They say that they are unable to send or add money.

As apparent from the reports, users are getting ‘Could not send payment’ error when they try to send the money through Apple Pay.

Moreover, reports on Downdetector suggest that the service is indeed not working for multiple users.

Unfortunately, this outage hasn’t been acknowledged by the support team. But we hope that it gets fixed soon.

Furthermore, we haven’t come across any potential workaround that might help you fix this glitch. Hence, you’ll have to wait until Apple addresses the matter.

08:50 am (IST): Multiple Apple Pay users report that the service is currently down or unavailable (1, 2, 3).

Apparently, this is another payment service affected by the ongoing nation-wide Square platform outage.

04:00 pm (IST): It seems that the recent outage with Apple Pay is finally going to be resolved. It comes after the most recent update from Square and according to them a fix has already been applied.

However, it’s possible for some to keep experiencing problems with the platform until it is fully restored.
