With over 90 million songs and 30,000 playlists, Apple Music features one of the largest music collections on the planet. Launched in 2015 on Android, the service has over 98 million users and generated revenue amounting to $4.1 billion in 2020.
However, in the last few months, users have complained about various bugs and glitches such as songs jumping to random spots, changes not syncing, and songs getting removed when the source library is deleted.
Adding to the long list of problems, some Apple Music subscribers are now reporting that the recently released ‘Mr Morale & The Big Steppers’ album by Kendrick Lamar is not available in their region.
Others say songs from the album are either skipping automatically or missing (1,2,3). People are seemingly frustrated and wondering if and when they will be able to listen to the album.
Some say they are tired of Apple Music messing things up and are considering switching to other music streaming platforms like Amazon Music, Deezer and Spotify.
Users say they tried relaunching the app to see if it helps but it looks like that made no difference. Below are some reports from Apple Music users who are unable to listen to ‘Mr Morale & The Big Steppers’ by Kendrick Lamar.
Thank you apple music for kicking me out of listening to Kendricks new album and then saying half isn’t available. This might be enough to convince me to switch to spotify. Ive been an AM defender for years, but every time a big artist drops, you continue to fail your listeners.
