Some Apex Legends players are facing an issue trying to unlock the Harbingers Angel badge due to a bug with progress tracking.

Naturally, this has left many frustrated and have they’ve taken to platforms like X, Reddit, and the EA forums to seek help.

Apex Legends not tracking Harbingers Angel badge progress

As indicated by the number of reports (1,2,3,4,5,6), many players are unable to unlock the ‘Harbingers Angel’ badge.

In order to unlock the badge, players have to deal 1000 damage using the Revenant Shell.

However, despite hitting enemies with the Revenant Shell, players noticed the progress tracker was stuck at 0.

Issue acknowledged

Luckily, Respawn quickly acknowledged the problem and confirmed they’re working hard to fix the bug which has been stopping players from progressing the Harbingers Angel badge.

While a fix is put in place, they also confirmed that no progress will be tracked right now. So don’t keep your hopes up for completing the target by using the Revenant Shell right now.

As an apology, Respawn will make it easier to unlock this badge when it’s fixed and available again.

Respawn, via X (FKA Twitter), also confirmed that it will lower required amount of damage to just 500. This will allow Apex players to advance through this mission without having to work really hard.

There’s no ETA for a fix. But we’ll likely see the progress tracking go live sooner rather than later.
